Sweetness: A Canadian Indie Film Worth Savouring
byScreen Love Affair

This week the boys are back talking about a great new Canadian film, Sweetness!

This debut feature for writer/director Emma Higgins stars Kate Hallett as Rylee Hill, a lonely highschooler and superfan of the band Floorplan and specifically the lead singer, Payton Adler (Herman Tømmeraas).

Adriana and Shea got to see the film at the 2025 Fantasia Film Festival and they absolutely loved it. Now that it's in theatres and primed to hit streaming soon, is the film worth your time? Let's discuss!
